Fee Structure

All fees are payable in advance -- cash or cheque-- at the Accounts Office, latest by the 10th of every month. All fees, once paid, are Non-refundable.

Diploma Programmes (Music & Theatre)
Fee Breakdown:
  • Application Form & Prospectus (one-time fee, due at application): Rs. 500 non-refundable.
  • Registration Fee (one-time fee, due at admission): Rs. 1,500 Non-refundable.
  • Tuition Fee per year: 48,000 (Rs. 4,000 per month) Non-refundable.
  • Tuition Fee per year: 48,000 (Rs. 4,000 per month) Non-refundable.
  • Book charges for Theatre students: 4,000 one-time payment Non-refundable.
  • Book charges for Music students: 2,000 one-time payment Non-refundable.

  • Total Fees (3 Years) Theatre:
    • Tuition Fee for three years: Rs. 144,000.
    • Application & Registration Fees: Rs. 2,000.
    • Book charges for Theatre students: 4,000 one-time payment non-refundable.
    • Refundable Deposit for three years: Rs. 18,000.
    • Total cost of Theatre Diploma: Rs. 132,000.

  • Total Fees (4 Years) Music:
    • Tuition Fee for four years: Rs. 192,000.
    • Application & Registration Fees: Rs. 2,000.
    • Book charges for Music students: 2,000 one-time payment non-refundable.
    • Refundable Deposit for four years: Rs. 24,000.
    • Total cost of Music Diploma: Rs. 172,000.
Music Admissions:
  • No recorded material or accompaniment is permitted during an audition
  • Live tabla and harmonium accompaniment will be available if required

Vocal Music: Candidates must perform at least one vocal composition of their choice (2-3 min. duration).

Instrumental Music: Candidates must perform one piece (2-3 min. duration) on an instrument of their choice. With the exception of piano, candidates are required to bring their own instrument.

Theatre Admissions:

Candidates will be offered a choice of 5 or 6 monologues. They must choose one and memorize it. In addition, candidates must prepare a monologue (2 to 3 minutes in duration) of their own choosing. This second monologue should be in contrast to the piece given by NAPA.
